Your starting point is Saltwell Park car park, the post code is NE8 4SF

Train: From Newcastle Central station get the metro to Gateshead Stadium, NE8 3NT, its then a 25 minute walk about 1.1m (1.7 kilometres) to Saltwell park

Car: From the A19 take the exit onto the A184 road towards Gateshead., Stay on the A184 for approximately 2
miles (3.2 kilometres) until you reach Saltwell Road, turn right onto Saltwell Road, and you will arrive at Saltwell
Park. (There is a lot of free parking on all the near by streets)

From the A1 take the appropriate exit onto the A184 road towards Gateshead., Follow the A184 for approximately
3 miles (4.8 kilometres) until you reach Saltwell Road., Turn left onto Saltwell Road, and you will arrive at Saltwell
Park. (There is a lot of free parking on all the nearby streets)

Disabled Access: We grade our accessibility with a level 1 to 5, 1 being easy and 5 being hard, due to a few small hills in the park we have given this walk a level 3
